New Appointments at DP Cast
Acting Quality Manager
Effective today, Doug Arstad, Engineering Manager, will lead the production team as Acting Quality Manager at Designed Precision Castings (DP Cast), leveraging his considerable experience and skill sets to monitor materials and quality control, problem solve through expert analysis, and oversee our NDT processes.
Doug will replace Cynthia Zhao, who will be assuming a new position with one of DP Cast’s valued long-term customers. We thank Cynthia for her contribution to the team and wish her every success.
Mike Dudley – a seasoned industry professional – will continue to act as our third-party, NDT Level III consultant in the areas of Radiography, Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant quality assurance and inspection.
Non-Destructive Testing/Quality Technician
DP Cast is pleased to announce that, effective April 20, Jake O’Hara will assume responsibility for all Level II X-ray processes and procedures at the facility, in his role as Non-Destructive Testing/Quality Technician. Jake brings extensive experience within the manufacturing and engineering sectors in both the UK and Canada to DP Cast. He currently holds NDT NAS410 inspection certifications in Radiography Level II (RTII), Fluorescent Penetrant Level II (PTII), and Visual Weld Inspection (VT).
We’re delighted to welcome Jake to the DP Cast team, as part of our ongoing efforts to offer the highest level of quality precision castings, service and expertise to customers in a broad range of industries.
